Three photos from around town.  I was experimenting with some of the effects on Picassa.

Memories of last April.  It makes me wonder: What is beauty, really?  I know it is an old, and very tired question.  I just wonder if anyone really has a definitive answer. The saying, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, does not seem to quite fit in the age of marketing, you know the age in which a few people keep telling me what I should think is beautiful.  Those people never shut up.

I really think this is a great approach to service equipment.  Too bad most owners are too scared to try it here in the US.

Random shopping cart I ran across.  It was next to the Train Station at Eighth and Corinth.

Four of my shadow studies from random places.

Three shots from my Assignment 2 studies.  Still have not got the hang of panning though.

I just like the Arches on this older McDonald’s in Downtown Dallas.

It never ceases to amaze me that great views of buildings are found in the most distant parking lots.  I was more interested in the train tracks in this picture; but, the iconic hotel tower kept jumping into the background.  The parking lot I was in is for the JFK Museum, so if you are driving this lot will get you a great view of trains and of the Reunion Tower.  It’s attached to a Hyatt, I think.  I know the restaurant in the tower is one of Wolfgang Puck’s ventures.  It’s called Five Sixty.  I hear it’s good for impressing dates.

These were placed on a public building, but were the words really needed?
